Nice welcome when we first arrived, shown to our room which was clean and comfortable, however, the bathroom in room 5 was very small, with a toilet sounding like the ones on a plane, and not comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a good choice. Overall a nice place, but over the top with ornaments.

Superb

Whether it’s a staging post on a longer journey or a base to explore, Ammonite Lodge is perfect. The rooms are spotless , comfortable and contains great products and facilities. The owners are incredibly welcoming- running the house seems as much a matter of love as well as business. We cannot fault the place and look forward to our next stay!
