When they clean they dont remove trash, no trash can in the room, no parking within the property, passages are filled with things like matress, towels, the place is noisy and in the middle of houses and dogs are just barking throughout the night

Nice and cozy hotel
Nice hotel about 5 minutes walking away from a public beach. The athmosphere was very friendly, e.g. providing helpful information on trips and some concert on one day at the restaurant. The pool and bar are not very large but cozy. Even some people from more expansive nearby hotels liked to come there in the evenings. The food was good but prices for dinner changed without annoncement. The rooms are clean, sufficiently large, and nicely decorated. The beds are good as well. The close-by public beach is not one of the best of Mauritius but enough for some relaxing days. Bus trips to Port Louis and Grande Bay can easily be done by a nearbyby public bus. Overall, the hotel provides an excellent price-quality ratio.

I would say not worth charges
Hotel was good in shape but toilets were light smelly due to poor ventilation only but were clean. Food was not satisfactory as breakfast buffet was included in stay but it was not a buffet, only bread and fruits were available nothing else and eggs were avl if you ask, they tried to make some indian dishes but made excuses later. Bed sheets are not changed every day but once a week only which i doubt was not changed during my complete stay of 10 days.

great, little, local hotel :)
lovely little hotel. staff is really friendly, housekeeping staff will not only keep your room clean but it will also brighten your day by leaving numerous local animals made out of towels and flowers on your bed etc. (really cool thing to do). we would really recommend la margarita hotel for its location (300m to the beach), friendly staff and delicious food at their restaurant downstairs. you can also hire a scooter thru the hotel for a very reasonable price if you wish to explore the island on two wheels.
