Good location just outside of beautiful downtown Oia and just a quick walk to fantastic Ammoudi port area. Hosts were very helpful in getting us a rental car and offered rides to Oia when we headed off to dinner or lunch. Great hosts!

Villas are located part way between Oia shopping and Ammoudi Bay which is a blessing and a curse since both require going up/down hills. However Ammoudi bay has a free shuttle hear the villas which is helpful. The beds at the villas are very hard. The pool is at a good temperature. It is not a hot tub though. Breakfast comes within an hour of when you select it delivered. Sunsets viewing options are close. Staff is helpful.

Like a wizard he made everything happen in minutes. The housekeeping stuff was also very pleasant and thorough with providing all services. This villa was lovely! Everything was perfect and the owners are so lovely and helpful. They even gave us a lift in to town. You can walk to Ammoudi bay within 10 minutes, beach and main town within 15minutes. It's perfect and we loved our stay.

This property was perfecf for our stay in Oia Santorini. The property is down the hill from Oia. A quick 10 minute walk but steep hill. Outside of the property there were Free Shuttles to Ahmoudi bay where you have 4 great restaurants with perfect views of the Sunset. Sunset bar was our fav and also Michael Jordan and Oprah been here.. Alex our concierge took care of everything. Rentals and airport transfers. Also a great breakfast. The pool for each villa was perfect and made our stay in Santorini relaxing since there are not many beaches near Oia... Would definitely recommend to any American looking for perfect stay in Oia. Make sure you rent a car or vehicle if staying for few days to visit other towns. Oia is always crowded except for late evenings.

We loved this place, it was quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds and the noise. The view was beautiful aspecially when relaxing and cooling down by or in the pool. Place was clean and welcoming with food items waiting for us when we checked in. It was well apointed with a nice kitchen and fridge stocked with water, fruit, bread, and other items. Service was attentive and welcoming and we were all happy with our stay. Note the walk to town is a little steep at about 15 minutes, so you will get your exercise. There are free shuttles to Ammoudi. Taxi to Oia is pricy relative to the 3 minute drive that it is, we chose to walk and enjoy the open air and the exercise.

Katharos Villas are a great place to stay. Close enough to the bay and the centre but far enough away not to get caught up in the hustle and bustle. Everything is walkable if you are reasonably fit and able, if not there are a number of taxi options. Our host, Alex, was super helpful and made us feel welcome throughout. The selection of goods put in the villa prior to our arrival were really good too… water, fruit, coffee, bread etc… all the essentials. For the cost of the Villa our stay represented great value. If you are looking for perfection and 180 degree caldera reviews… expect to pay at least 3 times what it costs to stay here. The villas themselves are well equipped, quiet and cosy (but not small)… We were a party of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters… The villa easily accommodated us all. We would return here.

The personal touches that Francesco, the concierge provided. From driving us the town and picking us up, to arranging a rental car. Daily service was also very much appreciated by Alexandria. Excellent stay! Location is 10/10 with incredible views, very quite to be able to relax and distress and about a 10-15 minute walk to Oia with all restaurants and anything else you may need. Alex and his brother went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay for about a week. They were responsive and anything we needed was answered/brought to us within a matter of minutes! Pool is deep and super warm, rooms are spacious and very clean offering a very comfortable bed plus 2 full bathrooms with a strong hot shower! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful place! Excellent service!
Santorini is truly magnificent and breathtaking place! This property is a hidden gem and great find and very safe place to stay with young kids (A lot of the places in Santorini are by cliffside which is not ideal for kids). Moreover we had a wonderful welcome and service by the property manager Francesca. We have no words to praise as he received us from airport and had a welcome basket with essentials at the start of our stay. He is very humble person and helped us with rides to Fira and Oia as we didn't rent a car. Property is very spacious and equipped with all the basic necessities. This will be very memorable in our life for a long time and felt like home for 4 days. We have never come across such a nice property manager. This place and Francesca deserved more than 5 stars!!!

This is NOT a private villa and there is no hot tub! There is a luke warm pool that everyone can see from the street. We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately there were so many issues. Upon checkout, Alex was extremely unprofessional and yelled in our faces. Very disrespectful! We were celebrating an engagement; there was nothing done to make this stay special. We were also not notified that we would be charged for laundry and “late checkout” due to the power going out for hours the morning we were leaving. We were sweating, could not charge our phones, and couldn’t get ready to get to our next destination. The place had ants all over the stairs and loud construction was going on the entire 8 day stay. Another couple checked in and was equally frustrated due to the false advertisement of what this place actually offers. Finally, we were told because this is a family business, they will dispute and delete all negative reviews. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable since everyone deserves an honest review when choosing to spend their own money for all travel occasions.

Property is very beautiful and very clean. We were very warmly welcomed with handfull of inclusive fruits and drinks and food in fridge. It was also very nice to see baby crib to be there for our small one. Cons were that 3 out of 3 times I went to reception desk. There was no one there. Construction work around property made it unpleasing when enjoying pool outside or having breakfast. Also garbage dump station on the way to property is not very pleasing, I know some of these things are outside of owners hands to improve or change. Overall we had a very good time. Thank you!
