The room was nothing like the photos shown here and kinda like what you get at a cheap no-tell motel. The bathtub was moldy. Cob webs on the ceilings. Gross food left in fridge from previous guests. No light cover on bathroom flouresant light. Bathroom sink clogged and drained super slow. Hairballs under the bed. No balcony as advertised. When I checked in, the staff had the number of nights reserved wrong. This hotel had a recent management/ownership change, so the old positive reviews are not really applicable.

The actual bedroom portion of the rooms are fantastically updated. The bathroom is very very outdated BUT we didn’t care. The bedroom portion made up for it. Just a very good motel.

The room was great and staff was really good with us, as our stay stretched longer than expected, our vehicle broke down, they accommodated us without a problem.. just wish they had a hot tub or something along that line...

Away from nouse of the train. We've stayed in Nelson in town before and it was way too noisy because of the train. At this hotel we heard no noise and had a great sleep!
