This is a nice property and is less than 5 minutes drive distance away from Hersheypark - which is why we chose it. It's not the cheapest, but that's not expected with the Marriott brand. I think it's about 6 years old, but doesn't really show its age. It feels modern and fresh. For the price paid, it would be nice if breakfast was included - as there are much lesser options in the area where it is part of the rate. But there is also a really great breakfast spot (Hershey Pantry) right down the road, so this was only a small issue for us.
The room was very spacious and clean. We had a room facing Hershey Avenue, which meant some noise came with it - but nothing too bad. The bathroom was okay. It had a tub shower and the faucet handles were loose - whereas they jiggled within the wall a little when using them. I also felt the TV was a bit small given the size of the room, but it seems they chose the size to fit with the furniture and not based on the room itself. Oh well, it worked and the HDMI inputs are accessible for using your own devices. Beds were comfy, too. And lastly, probably the best feature - this hotel does NOT have the stupid under-the-window HVAC units that are always loud and obnoxious. There was a ceiling-mounted unit by the bathroom that was nearly silent and kept the room cool in the 90+ degree summer days we stayed there.
Overall, we absolutely would stay here again without hesitation.
