The Haileybury Beach Motel is truly worth the ride beyond the chain hotels in Temiskaming Shores - the been-there-done-that hotels. This hotel is right on the waterfront in Haileybury with access to walking paths and views of incredible sunsets at the end of your busy day. The room was extremely clean, and it is clear that the owners have taken great care in ensuring their property is very well maintained. The hosts are very pleasant, kind, and left me feeling like I was a true guest in their home away from home. I believe in supporting independently owned businesses, and this one is on my go-to list!

For summer, this property is fantastic! There’s a Swimming area, bike trails and walkable paths. The view is gorgeous. After asking twice for a hairdryer (as Advertised), I took a long bus ride home with dirty hair! My advice is bring your own. Otherwise, clean, cute rooms with all new appliances and fixtures. Breakfast is minimal but included.
