Clearly the owners of this hotel dont want to spend a single penny in modernising the place. You can see that about 20 years ago, it would have been in it s prime.however, now everywhere you look, there are signs of neglect. The gym is tired and old. Luckily. I got the treadmill going after a bit of patience. No staff for swimming pool or gym. There are 4 sauna cabins, no less, and an aerobics room, which look as though they havent been used in the last decade. Location is great, and the building has so much potential, but it now needs a lot spent on it to bring it up to the standards of a lot of the newer hotels. The room had a musty smell with old beds and bathroom, old style TV. Very good gym next door to hotel. Breakfast was OK. Having said all this, the place has a charm, a big car park, and in easy walking distance to markets, Robinson, and many places of interest in downtown Chanthaburi.
