If you use third party booking website, such as this one, and your plans change as mine did while I was out here on business (meetings ended a day early) this resort will not check you out early and credit you back.
Literally EVERY other hotel I have ever been to, regardless of how the room was booked, meaning at the non-refundable rate, will honor an early check out with proper notice.
It actually even happened to me on this same business trip, while I was at an extremely nice Hilton resort nearby, was accommodating and checked me out early. The manager at that competing resort Knows customer service.
While at the ANDAZ, I advised the manager Daniel on Monday that my business was going to wrap up early and I needed to check out a day early, and after many discussions, he denied the option to honor my early check out. Not sure why he is so entitled, but he is on a power trip. Typical modern day customer service by this new younger generation that has zero idea of how good customer service looks. I contacted the Hyatt and they advised it was the hotels discretion. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
The rest of the staff was great, pool needed a good cleaning though.
