Great Location for Town Center & Rafting/Kayaking
The Hostel:
Basic hostel, clean, affordable, friendly staff. Directly across from the river which is lovely. Lockers in the room are large but not enough to store a suitcase, there is no luggage storage room. No lift, but there are a maximum of 2 staircases you would have to carry luggage. Bathroom and showers are in the hall. Need to pay cash.
Location:
The location is perfect. Prior to coming here I didn't know that Cesky Krumlov was a nature recreational area (I went to check out the historic town center), so I was pleasantly surprised to see the river and recreation. Hostel is located about a 5 minute walk towards the historic town area and about a 10 minute walk into the main square of the town. Around a 20 minute walk from the bus station, however note that this commute includes an up hill climb, and some rocky and broken concrete portions where the sidewalks near the bus station haven't been repaired. If you have heavy wheeled luggage it is doable but a hassle, and there are no taxis readily available, unless you know the number to call for local taxi services (I looked some up but could only find taxis for Prague).
The river is visible from the hostel, and you can rent a kayak or raft, and the river is calm and serene, with some slight drops, and winds around the historical center. Note if you are traveling solo, need a group of people for the rafting and I only saw double kayaks.
