Great resort, location is just okay
This was an amazing resort, in terms of the value for the apartment for our family of seven, the pools and other amenities, and the level of service. The kids loved the choices of activities and the kids club. We didn't eat at the restaurants as we preferred the variety elsewhere. The shuttle to the beach was nice but we only used it one day as the beach had too much seaweed for us.

We had a 2bedroom and it was perfect for the family. Besides the kitchenette, over which we prepared breakfast and saved $80 a day (we spent $30 for the entire 3-day breakfast), there’s also a washing machine. The living room had a sofa bed that 2 persons slept on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Yes, will definitely consider a return

Our stay in Marriot
We have stayed in a 1 bedroom with leaving room and kitchen that was very well equipped. We could easily prep meals for our family there. The staff from housemaid, concierge, front desk and restaurant (Momo caffe) we’re supper helpful offering an execelent service all the time. The cleaning was and we have animal figures everyday :).

This was a return visit for us came in 2018 last time so for convenience returned received same room which was nice. Generally everything was good but it would be helpful if staff underwent some further training on customer service. Seems to be a trend if don’t understand or pretend not issue don’t get addressed. Excellent hotel & staff. Beautiful tropical grounds and easy to walk around Nusa Dua, ride a bike, or get taxis to other parts of Bali. We loved our stay, the only downside is that smoking is unfortunately still allowed on balconies. This means if your sitting by the pool and someone starts smoking, you are breathing in the secondary smoke. There were only a few loungers near the restaurant where the balconies were not facing which was the only place you could be guaranteed smoke-free area by the pool where you were not inhaling other peoples cigarettes. If this could be changed to meet current health guidelines then I would not be able to fault the hotel. We had an excellent stay and staff were so hospitable & great with our kids, nothing was too much trouble.

We were invited to a viewing in advance by an employee via WhatsApp. After we passed on our invitation details and received a gift as a thank you, we were already looking forward to our stay at the hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by the employee. First, we were asked about our income and it was determined that our income was too low for the presentation. You feel like a second class guest. We will definitely not book with Marriott again as we don't want to be treated like that again. For us, this is very bad service for our guests, being divided into rich and poor. We have traveled a lot around the world but luckily we haven't had to experience anything like this. Thank you Marriott Bonvoy. FYI, we wanted to clarify it with the hotel. Unfortunately the only answer was a standard excuse without an apology. A pity.
