A beautiful modern rustic home especially designed to enjoy life in our green paradise at the best surf spot and where you can enjoy every afternoon of the magical sunsets of Santa Teresa. A great big garden with ocean view and private pool.


This house is just upon the beach, one of the most beautiful and fun beaches at the Pacific coast in Costa Rica. It’s located just next to all the town facilities, in a private neighborhood with security, private swimming Pool, restaurant, playground, spa, beachfront lounge and surf lessons/rentals. You just open the door and you are in paradise!



This two storey home has 110m2, all made in teak, pochote, cenicero and almond wood.

- Outdoors: Huge balcony, hammocks, wooden chairs, 1 sofa-bed, BBQ grill, outdoor shower and toilet. Private pool in front garden.

- Main floor: Full equipped kitchen, Flat TV, DVD, cable TV, AC, big bathroom, living area with one double bed and 1 small bedroom with a double bed

- First Floor: 1 big bedroom with one queen bed and 1 single bed, small balcony. Perfect to oversee directly the waves.

    Incredible location!

    Palm Villa is absolutely gorgeous, with an incredible location, steps away from the beach. There's a restaurant next door, and a cafe across the street, which was super convenient. House itself as small, but clean and well-maintained. Super charming, the staff was great and so helpful, and the back yard/patio area was amazing. Everything is within walking distance (5 minutes or so to grocery stores, restaurants, etc). the beach is literally less than a minute walk--it's right outside your door!

    A peaceful rustic place by the Ocean

    The property layout is charming, in tuned with the nature of its location and safe. Banana Beach is a semi-private compound of a few houses that offers the break one needs. Well located, 20 seconds from the beach, you will hear the waves 24/7. The outside living area protected by its Palapa is just the touch you imagined for a tropical place. Dining is outside on a long enough table with spartan tastes for comfort but one can live with it.. The kitchen has almost everything and allowed us to cook fresh produce from the World Green Centre (our choice of course, as we live on Organic food as much as possibe) but we did go to two other small retailers and found anyhting and everthing you may need. The important correction they must bring are the pillows wasted by mold that we would not touch during our stay and the finishing touches here and there. Cleanliness is under any American standards but you will survive!. We encourage the owner to answer whatever comment he may receive from his fantastic and gentle host Leah, who is genuinely eopen to yor comments while staying neutral yet attentive. I put the onus n the owner who does not seem to realize he coud charge a little bit more if he upgraded this place. Beds were fine and everything worked. I would return anyway, as you can't beat being plesantly entertained by the next door restaurant who plays comtemporary music, cool stuff while respecting a noise level that is totally accptable. Kuddos for that. The pool is a small gem, very clear water and cleaned 6 times a week. Your little nest I would say. I'll stop here lest you wish to pay for my review.!

    beautiful beach house with areas for improvement

    I enjoyed my stay in Santa Teresa. I was hoping for a quieter zone of beach, this is definitely right in the middle of all of the action... for those looking for respite, this may not be your spot, as music does kick into the wee hours. There were handymen working on the property, unbeknownst to myself, so when I got up in the morning and was in my robe, I was surprised to see them outside hammering away. Also, It would have been awesome if the house supplied a few essentials - salt, body or hand soap, sugar, coffee filters... I ended up having to buy a lot of items for just a couple nights stay, which felt wasteful. hopefully the next guests were able to enjoy. All of that being said, the beach is glorious, the pool and the bbq and the general outdoor area was sublime. I suggest this for a family or young persons looking to enjoy the beach, within walking distance of grocery etc..

    Perfect family getaway

    The beachfront palm villa was exactly what our family needed in a getaway. Right on the beach but private. Amazing outdoor area for cooking and relaxing and dipping in the pool. Perfect location close to everything you need in Santa Teresa. Would definitely book again!

    Awesome, amazing stay!

    We absolutely loved our experience at the Beachfront Palm! Leah is the best! She was amazingly helpful and kind. Can't say enough, actually, about all the staff we interacted with throughout the stay. As far as the Villa is concerned, think semi-rustic cabin. Very cute and quirky, with the outdoor space being the best feature of it. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped, but functional. We could have used some lightweight blankets when we turned on the air conditioning at night. Otherwise, it was very clean. As far as the music next door, we felt it was fine. Every night it was done before 10pm, and even then it was not loud at all. In fact there was a special party one evening and the manager of the bar came over and brought us costume items to wear and invited us for free drinks. It was a thoughtful gesture. It may have been a big deal with smaller children, but with three teen girls, not an issue for us. The location on the beach cannot be beat, and we would go back in a heartbeat!

    BEST LOCATION IN SANTA TERESA

    This was our first time in Santa Teresa, and i must say i think this was the BEST location in the area. Some reviews mention loud music next door at Banana Beach, and we did not experience that seeing bars and restaurants have to close at 9pm. But, I loved how centralized the location was. We walked to many restaurants- KOOKS BBQ 👍🏽, TROPICO LATINO, Ice Cream across the street, and of course BANANA BEACH. (My very favorite however was CARACOLAS a short distance drive in Malpais, and CHICOS in Montezuma. 👍🏽👍🏽 Although I loved the location, and being right on the beach, in the middle of all the happenings of town- my VERY favorite thing about this property was the Manager, Leah. From the moment we booked, months in advance of our trip, she was helpful with all my questions, and handled all the bookings of our excursions and adventures. She is the ONE to know in town, trust me! She has wonderful contacts and helped us with everything from advice with money exchange, to savviness of knowing the area so well. 💗👍🏽👍🏽 THANK YOU LEAH!!!! As for the house itself, it was everything we expected. We enjoyed the beautiful patio the very most, especially during evening rain storms! The air conditioner was STELLAR! The kitchen was very well stocked. The sleeping arrangements suited our family of 4 very well. And the bathroom was large and it was enjoyable to shower in the open air shower. The staff was wonderful too. Jose came every morning to handle the grounds and clean the pool, and Karina is a lovely girl that does some housekeeping. She even helped with a load of laundry, for which i gave her an extra tip! Some things to note- just to forewarn… there are no blankets. It did not bother us, but if you are one to catch a chill in A/C or enjoy sleeping with more than just a sheet, you may want to specifically request a blanket. We also had a little problem with the outdoor electricity box controlling the fan. Luckily, leah was very easy to get a hold of and they addressed our concerns rapidly. Just noting that the home has been weathered by the ocean and Costa Rican elements, for us it was part of the charm and enjoyment- but its worth mentioning in case you have different expectations with the actual accomodations. We plan to return and will MOST DEFINITELY book with Santas Cabinas. Great location, terrific staff, cozy & well maintained accomodations…. Can’t ask for any thing more! Oh! But do watch out for falling coconuts! 😆🥥 🌴

    Amazing place to stay in beautiful Santa Teresa

    I was fortunate enough to stay in the Palm Villa with my family & friends this December. The property is AMAZING. We spent most days in the large covered seating area (which feels like a comfy outdoor living room) or by the pool, and most nights around the large dining table (also outdoors). The house was cozy but had plenty of beds, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals in. Of course, it was amazing to be steps away from the beach. Wake up, make coffee, and check the surf! It was also perfectly situated in town -- immediately across the street was a grocery store and a few cafes, and within 5-10 mins walk there were 2 more grocery stories and dozens of restaurants. We hardly walked more than 10 minutes in any direction all week! The only small downside was that there were a few nights where the music from Banana Beach next door was loud, but there were other nights where it was quiet and ended early, so I think there's some luck involved. Lastly, our host was very friendly and attentive, and even helped us arrange a fantastic tour nearby in Montezuma. We loved this house, Santa Teresa, and Costa Rica (our first time for all 3), and I sincerely hope we get to visit again someday! We will definitely stay at the Palm Villa if we do!
