We stayed in the luxury Tent, and it was fabulous, bigger than we expected which was great and perfect for what we needed. Our stay at finfoot really was great, great for both adults and children. My only point to maybe consider is that when ordering food it took a very long time to get our order. Other than that the food was great.

Finfoot is really good
This is a really nice reasonably priced getaway with lots of activities that are extra. The Spa, Segways, Clay Pigeon Shooting and Boat Tours were all great. The staff are really good and attentive. The manageress of the place however is not a nice lady screaming at staff and guests alike. Dream Resorts should take action against her as they have a great product.

Finfoot is great for families
Very close to Johannesburg. Very good value. Good activities. Food was average but tasty. Staff are hardworking and attentive. The manageress however is awful and she treats staff and guests very badly. The Spa was great. Megan the game ranger was excellent. All in all a good experience and a good family get away

Absolutely beautiful place. We stayed in the villa andit was gorgeous, very clean and the plunge pool was an added bonus. Did the clay pigeon shooting, segway and game drive which were all great. Had an issue when a storm took out the power in our villa and we were moved to 3 chalets for our final night which were also beautiful
Lovely peaceful place to stay. It felt very homely and welcoming

Positive points for this property include the food, which was generally of high quality and the guides, (although over utilised by the property), who were friendly and knowledgeable.
However the property needs investment with broken tiles and old furniture in the bar area, no privacy screening around the chalets, poor fitting window blinds and lack of safety fence from a potentially dangerous drop at the edge of the pool area.
If your looking for a couple of informal days in the bush around a pool, this resort is fine however if you wanted to stay here and see a wide variety of wildlife, you would need to drive 45 minutes to the Pilanesberg Reserve.

Absolutely awesome!
Wow! What a true gem! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Finfoot. The service was fantastic and all the staff were super friendly. It was so relaxing with a great ambience and lovely chilled vibe. The rooms are big and comfortable and i loved the layout of the lodge. They have a number of activities to suit everyone and the spa has very reasonable prices. We loved the bush walks, game drive and sunset cruise on the dam. The food was good and with 2 swimming pools and loads of outdoor space you are spoilt for choice. Its also only 2 hours from Joburg which is perfect for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back.

The whole impression is the one for a 3 star accomodation, good enough but certainly not wow!
food is kept warm in pots, so if you are at dinner early; the food is tasty, but when you are a bit late the food is getting dry and not much left. the rooms are oka'; not special. the distance to the Pilanesberg nature reserve is 75km, much more that the suggestion that was given on internet.
We had a nice time but we will not come back, sorry.

A great all round Experience! From start to finish all very smooth opperation. Booking online, without a hiccup, confirmation and lodge called to check on our arrival - nice to hear a voice in between the notifications. Reviews and comments on site prepared us for the gravel road which was manageable and an adventure. It would have been a horror if caught by surprise. Checkin friendly and prepared, too professional... room as advertised comfortable clean and purposeful. Bar and meals great. The peace and quiet -what we came for was perfect! Service with a smile and nothing was an effort or not possible. Thank you for making it a great weekend. Checking out, everything was ready, bill was clear and didn’t have any surprises. Thank you!
