I was super excited about this hotel and did some research before I came. I went through the room options and wanted one I saw online. I’m assuming a private area and room. My wife wears a hijab and this is our honey moon. We booked the room. We arrived late at night, staff was friendly but unfortunately know no English, it’s really hard to communicate. They take us to our room, looked nice but the view was completely different than what I saw. There was a big walk way and a public pool right in front of my pool. Not private at all. Was not in the pictures. We couldn’t use the pool because my wife can’t be out in front of others in her bathing suit and we didn’t feel private. People kept walking by, tons of cats which is uncomfortable and annoying. I asked to be switched to a different room and they said it’s late and to sleep and we’ll figure it out in the morning. I was frustrated, but I said okay. (Considering the room is $750) it should be perfect. I asked in the morning what they came up with, he said he can not do anything about it. I asked to cancel 1 night or get a discount to compensate. They did neither. I had no choice to stay. The pools were ice cold, they were not used. We wanted to leave the hotel to go to the beach, our hotel door does not lock, they said it’s faulty and we can’t lock our room. We had a lot of valuables so I was worried. They said just go and they said no one should go in. Idk how a hotel doesn’t lock. The ac wasn’t working good, and had spider
