Smashing stay
This is a lovely little BnB, ran by a friendly, welcoming lady. The location is perfect, being right near the town and harbour. The car parking does fill up fast so best to get their early. The roomw as beautifully presented. Only criticism is there were quite a lot of flies in the room, so I would take some fly spray! Other than that it was the perfect stay. Extremely comfortable bed and homely feel. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again!

Overall, quite a pleasing stay
Very pleasant B&B. Although compact, the room was nice enough. Stylish shower room, though there was some painting needed and the blind needed replacing due to mould spots. I had a room with bunk beds and slept on the bottom bunk. The mattress was thin and lumpy and really needs replacing. However, I still slept ok as it wasn't particularly uncomfortable (though I'd done a lot of walking which helped). It was a self-check in, which was convenient, but for me, the service felt less personable. The lady doing the breakfast was polite and friendly. Sometimes there was a bit of a wait to eat as there aren't enough tables to accommodate all the guests at the same time, which is something to bear in mind if you're on a schedule. The stairs are quite steep and narrow which is something to consider. The location is excellent as it's literally spitting distance from the quay. The private car park opposite is expensive. The council car park next too it is more reasonable, and free between 6pm and 8am. If you're lucky to find a space, there's also unrestricted on-street parking on Freeman Street.

great place to stay in Wells
Loved the huge and comfortable bed, room 3 is a very big room on the street but nevertheless very quiet. We slept divinely. Morning breakfast service was super friendly and we loved it. Location is fantastic.
