Very pleasant B&B. Although compact, the room was nice enough. Stylish shower room, though there was some painting needed and the blind needed replacing due to mould spots. I had a room with bunk beds and slept on the bottom bunk. The mattress was thin and lumpy and really needs replacing. However, I still slept ok as it wasn't particularly uncomfortable (though I'd done a lot of walking which helped). It was a self-check in, which was convenient, but for me, the service felt less personable. The lady doing the breakfast was polite and friendly. Sometimes there was a bit of a wait to eat as there aren't enough tables to accommodate all the guests at the same time, which is something to bear in mind if you're on a schedule. The stairs are quite steep and narrow which is something to consider. The location is excellent as it's literally spitting distance from the quay. The private car park opposite is expensive. The council car park next too it is more reasonable, and free between 6pm and 8am. If you're lucky to find a space, there's also unrestricted on-street parking on Freeman Street.
