Well located in Giverny, this wonderful place was a find. The hosts were welcoming, the breakfast very French it was a memorable stay.

This place is rustic, beautiful and the owner is delightfully friendly, with the perfect location to walk to Monet's gardens and cafes. However, the description of the rooms and photographs are very misleading. Our room did not have a fridge and microwave. The television was in a common area where breakfast is served, not in our room. The room had a shower and sink (no door), but the toilet was also in a common area. There are no black out curtains, but very shear curtains instead. The "toiletries" were 1 used bottle of shower gel. There were no Kleenex, no hairdryer and the free parking is free, but they are not on the property and subject to availability. The spots do not belong to the hotel. These things were minor inconveniences to us because we always travel with needed items, but other visitors might need more accurate information. Also, the pictures on the listing are of all of the rooms--one picture looking out a window was the only one taken of our room. With all of that said, my biggest complaint was the floor--it was carpet and had not been vacuumed in a very long time. I don't mind rustic, historic, quirky, homey, etc, but I do expect clean. Ultimately, the location and the friendly owner made up for the shortcomings and we thoroughly enjoyed our little vacation in Giverny.
