"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Etna Suite in Catania, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
**Location:** The hotel is perfectly situated on Via Etnea, right in the heart of Catania. It's within walking distance to many attractions, including the beautiful Villa Bellini Park and the bustling Piazza Duomo. This prime location made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

"After some initial difficulties the stay was very positive. In the beginning we were offered a horrendous room which was absolutely not acceptable. After complaining we were offered a free upgrade and the room was good. Nice location with direct access to the sea. Staff is friendly and the property well kept. Parking is free and close to the rooms in a closed parking area. There is a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. "

"The location is great.
A nice and different hotel in terms of interior design. The staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good. "

"Hotel is new (or recently extensively renovated). Very modern decor. Very high quality. Located at the water front. If you have a car they will give you two options: you can drive to a lot to park and walk back - about 700 meters. Or they will use a valet service to park your car and retrieve it when you need it. There is no on-site parking. The valet service worked well. Breakfast was very good. A combination of continental and ordering from a menu. "

"Hotel Donna Rosa is a home away from home. My husband and I stayed for three nights and were sad to leave. Carolie treated us like family and we met many wonderful travelers over breakfast. Which is delicious, by the way! The location is steps from the beach and near Taorima as well. We will definitely be back. 🌷"

"Unusal, quirky decor but a great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, very clean, beds incredibly comfortable and a brilliant pool area.
Breakfast quite basic (extra charge for fried eggs or omelette) and restaurant pricey as often is the case in hotels.
Not central to Catania but lovely to be away from the craziness so you can relax. Good bus options to the town, or further up the coast. "

"Our family of four loved staying here. Maurizio and his staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The home cooked traditional meals were delicious, our rooms were immaculate, the views were amazing and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The large, clean pool was fabulous after active days visiting the Etna region. We went out in the local town for dinner once and can really recommend it. Thank you!"

"Nice hotel in the center of town. It’s nothing special but it was nice. The rooftop bar and restaurant offered great views of Mt Etna so I would say that was our favorite thing about the hotel.
The breakfast in the morning was average, but priced fairly.
The beds in the room were incredibly hard, and the pillows were terrible. (Very lumpy.)
But the room was clean.
If you were looking for something in the center of the city, this would be a OK choice but if you are looking for something with...

"Mare Nostrom was a great petite hotel, Enrico the owner was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. We spent a week traveling in Sicily, and on our way to Malta so we could comfortably get some rest and enjoy the beach across the street and some great restaurants recommended by Enrico. I highly recommend this spot!! "
