"I've stayed in quite a few hotels in İzmir and Istanbul... Riva Alsancak stands out. The room was super clean — no complaints whatsoever. But what really won me over was the location; you're right in the middle of Alsancak, one of the most vibrant parts of the city. Perfect base for exploring İzmir. Would 100% stay again."
"Quite, clean, people were very helpful,
Indoor pool was closed during our one week staying, just the outside pool was open and outside was cold temperature.
The pool opens at 11 am, it was very late for early birds. They need to change opening hours to earlier time, like 7 am. We couldn’t find any trails in the forest. Hotel is really close to forest but you can not walk in there."
"This hotel deserves better management!
*we came to hotel by car from another city, we found the entrance of the building by navigation, it was during the rush hours and finally when we came, we saw a big construction area written that "sorry we are renewing our lobby area"! so then what? there is no sign, no employee! we started to turn around the building and streets and lucky found the entrance to hotel trough their convention center. I inform the chek-in employee that it was problem for me, they should inform their customers before check in ; he replied "I will transfer your complain to management" that's all !
Other issue was extra bed they brought to room! it was not ready when we came to room and it was the oldest and worst extra bed ever. my son couldn't sleep there and we had to share the king bed 3 of us. And when I informed them of course the answer was "we will transfer your complain to management" Again no "sorry "
the only star goes to the Italian restaurant in the hotel. it was amazing! but hotel it self was not even close to 5 stars except the location and building. "
"Everything is good but the AC simply doesn’t cool down the rooms. I prefer to sleep at 20 degrees and even though it is winter time, the room was at 24 degrees after the ac worked whole night.
This is not my first time in here, this is always the case. "
"I’ve stayed at the hotel several times. The staff are so kind and helpful (they speak English), the rooms are quiet and the breakfast is top notch. I really appreciate the location being steps away from both the check-in counters and baggage claim for my very early departures or very late arrivals. The rooms have everything you need, even the single-bed room is comfy!"
"Hotel and room was very clean. Excellent helpful and pleasant staff. Kemal is one of them and he is an excellent and wonderful guy.
Hotel located on the main road. Excellent views from the balcony.
A good selection of tea/instant coffee was available for free 24 hours.
