"The Cabins has potential and is a great idea but unfortunately it wasn’t executed well. The drains in our room smelt really bad and there was a problem with the water. The shower was cold and the bathroom could have been cleaner. There were also ants everywhere in the room, including on the bed. However, the location was good and really close to town although can be a bit noisy at night from the road but this didn’t bother us."

"A clean and convenient place to stay right in el Tunco, walking distance to surf, shops, restaurants, etc. No hot water, but that is expected in the area. It was worth it to pay a little extra for a private bathroom.

"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. When I was there there's was lots of construction; and there's also plenty of "banging" noise, which I think comes from something that falls out of the trees onto the tin roof of the rooms; that could be a...

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were amazing. The manager Gabrielle and staff were very friendly and resposive to any issues. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, good shower with hot water, refridgerator in room, close to the beach, pools were cleaned daily, breakfast was excellent. "The property is very pretty. Beach front with 3 swimming pools. Drinks at the restaurant are great. I would say the location is great, the rooms in the back or family villas were we stayed are a little bit dated the bathroom is outside and it has an unusable living room with no AC. The roof top-deck is nice but they need to remodel the layout of the villas. Overall I would stay there again for the value even though is not exactly perfect."

"This property is a 2 minute walk from El Tunco gate entrance! There is a lovely man that watches over the place and is there for whatever you need and he is so kind and wonderful! AC is awesome! Pools & lounging area are great! King size bed I picked was great and comfy! Sheets don’t fit perfectly but honestly it was fine to fix in the morning with no other issues! Great quiet area for the price! Would stay again "
