Wonderful stylish city especially around the Arena area. Would also recommend highly a trip to Padua (45 mins by train) both for Giotto frescoes in the Capella della Scrovegni and lovely medieval old city.

Definitely not a city you should miss, or relegate to just a day trip. It deserves a few days, the wine is delicious, and its proximity to Lake Garda makes it a great base.

The Roman theatre museum (not the Arena) is well worth a visit. And take the funicular for a fantastic view of the city.

Its a beautiful city that we had only been to previously for one day. This time we came for the opera (which was a bit of a let down), but have seen so much more of the city, and want to come back.... again!
"Un très bon établissement pour visiter Vérone, très bien situé dans le quartier historique avec possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner à proximité. Une chambre très confortable, mais surtout un très bon accueil, avec un personnel sympathique et très arrangeant. "
"Adorable apartment. Within close walking distance to all things to do in the city center. Cute little

"Beautiful and spacious apartment hotel very close to the old city walls. Amazing service from the front desk staff. Beds were not that comfortable and there was no shampoo in the bathrooms but all else was excellent. "
"For a short stay in Verona, it was convenient to the train station. Moreover, the hotel looks much better from the inside than on the outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room fixtures and furnishings. Breakfast (included) was also excellent. "
"Opera Relais de Charme is an amazing and beautiful hotel located in the heart of Verona. The rooms are themed with red and hearts. It’s a beautiful place and the staff are pleasant and professional. I would stay here again. "
