"Very nice resort of high standard. The only drawback could be that it is a bit remote, but with a rental car this is no issue. Really nice restaurants offering delicious foods. Relatively large swimming pool that never appears crowded. Staff generally friendly and willing to help. When in a room higher up quite some stairs to walk but a golf-cart service is available as well. Definitely a recommendation!!!"

"Lovely quiet location. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely but not so good having to walk across the road to the main hotel for food, indoor pool, entertainment etc Fantastic breakfast and tables not squashed together but didn't manage to eat dinner as it was fully booked both times we tried. Lovely large pool but too cold for us in early April. Ask for a room that gets sun as we had none on ours."

"We arrived at 10pm to a warm welcome, a complimentary drink and, although the restaurant had closed, food had been put by for us to enjoy (much needed). We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. Even though it was early July, the hotel did not appear to be full. There are sufficient sun beds to cater for all guests around a large pool area, which is surrounded by a well maintained beautiful garden. The hotel is most suitable for any guests that may be infirm or struggle with mobility...

"On the plus side: The location is beautiful with open views across the countryside. The reception staff are willing, efficient, friendly and do their best in the face of quite a few challenges. The hotel is characterful. On the downside: It is not as advertised - if it was a product that we had bought we would have sent it back. We booked and paid for a hotel with a leisure centre and gym. It doesn't have either - no gym at all. We were promised fine dining - apparently it used to be, but it is...
