How lovely to be treated to fresh water, a chocolate or macaroon, plenty of clean towels, a cosy robe and slippers, a comfy bed and hot shower after a long day of walking and sightseeing. I think if I would have communicated better, the staff would have solved the issues so I suppose I should also give myself 4/5 stars, but here's the feedback fyi. Perhaps to accommodate the hesitant guests, like me, who wait to complain...

"Have returned to this property many times to enjoy the FEQ … best summer music festival in Canada :) Love that this hotel has last-minute VIP passes for purchase. This location is super convenient for shows and shopping / walking around the old city No pool, but it’s walkable to the other Marriott to use that one. Love the modern rooms (which are shockingly quiet inside, given the busy location) and great valet parking. Only downside is that the restaurant is only option for breakfast...

The hotel was under renovation but we did receive notification, there was appropriate signage to direct us and it had no impact on our stay. "This is an excellent find in Quebec City. The location is fantastic. The street has a lot of restaurants, bars, and shopping. And it is just a 10 minute walk from Old Town. Our room had everything we needed and it was quiet and clean. 10/10 and we’ll be staying there again next time we visit! "
