"What a wonderful experience! Our “family tent” was luxurious, immaculate and spacious. The heated beds were so cozy. The common spaces were welcoming, well stocked, and also immaculate. Jolanta welcomed us onsite, helped us to our tent and most importantly showed us around the many offerings of coffee - including machines in individual tents and the incredible Mielle machine in the common area. Thank you for everything!"

"My fiancé and I stayed at this charming hotel during our trip to Iceland, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—close enough to the Golden Circle and southern Iceland's top attractions, making it easy to explore. The breakfast was delicious, and the chef was exceptionally kind, always making us feel welcome.

"Our family had fun staying in the tents. They were very comfortable and well maintained. Heaters and electric blankets were in the tents to keep you warm. "

"Location is great right in the middle of the golden circle.
They had two outside tubs.
Awesome to relax after a long day.
Room is nice. Problem was the bathroom floor, when wet it can become extremely slippery.
Also as it uses floor heat I g it becomes quite warm. As it’s our first time in Iceland we didn’t know this and didn’t open the windows. What I didn’t like was that we didn’t get the promised bath tub /inside garden facing rooms as prebooked."

"Stayed for two nights and only ever heard other people once during the stay. Like other reviews said, it had kind of an eerie feel due to that but we had peaceful sleeps. Lots of stairs and interesting layout of the house! Could only find one working shower on the property but drained extremely slow requiring us to stop and start the water flow. Bathrooms were not clean (toilets dirty, multiple toilet rolls around) and garbages not emptied during our stay. Fridges full with extra food not sure...

"The staffs were amazing starting with a wonderful check-in experience. Parking for cars is sizeable and convenient. The offered free breakfast which included hot coffee...room was also convenient. The only things i would want improved upon is the addition of a small fridge in the family room and maybe a microwave. Besides these, Hotel 201 is indeed one of Reykjavik's best kept secret! It's all you want and you sure can't go wrong with it. "

"Absolutely loved it! I specifically chose this one because it was the tallest hotel in the city, and the view did NOT disappoint. Best feature of the hotel is the fact that the neighbor's

"Just off of the downtown district. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient to walk around. Close to clean park. Staff solid. Will come back to stay for third or more times in the future. Great breakfast too."

"The hotel was clean with basic amenities. It was good value for the price in Iceland. Check in and check out was easy. They had onsite parking which we found a bit confusing to use as it is a third party operator. The buffet breakfast was amazing definitely worth adding onto your trip given the cost of food in Iceland. "

"The breakfast served was perfect. A great combination of hot food, fresh fruit, and sweets. Very good coffee too. The front desk was very welcoming and made good recommendations. It’s a great location close to a main drag and close to the bus stop pick ups for tours."

"We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable and nearby to many restaurants and attractions in the city.
The two dinners that we had at Kastrup, the hotel’s restaurant were excellent. "

"Good location for getting around Reykjavic. Down side is there’s no restaurant service other than breakfast.
Our initial welcome at check in was less than welcoming but things improved through the stay.
The ladies doing the breakfast service are lovely. Breakfast is average but adequate.
It’s easy to park in paid parking close to the hotel."

"Loved 101! Easy to park and then walkable to the Harp and harbor where we did a food tour and hit great places to eat. The staff at the hotel was very good and kept ahead of a bustling business."
