Expedia Customers are treated poorly in the property.
I recently stayed at Condado Plaza Hilton and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
Firstly, the lack of staff engagement was noticeable. There was minimal interaction with hotel guests and no effort for service recovery. It felt as though the staff were uninterested in ensuring a pleasant stay.
Additionally, the standard steps of service seemed completely absent. I encountered several instances where basic requests went unaddressed, leaving me feeling overlooked and frustrated.
The condition of my room was also concerning. The curtains had mold, which was not only unappealing but also raised health concerns. This lack the proper maintenance from the engineering/property maintenance department is unacceptable for any establishment.
Moreover, I noticed staff members frequently on their cell phones, which added to the overall lack of professionalism. It was disheartening to see employees more focused on their devices than on the guests. There was not even a "How was your stay" when I checked out.
Overall, I can go on and on about the various shortcomings of this hotel. I expected a much higher standard of service and care. I hope management addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my visit.
