6/10 Good

Good, and bad…
Very important to me is cleanliness and comfort, of which I rated highly. The room was extremely clean, and the room very comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t working right, but quite often it’s not reported to the front desk, which we did. There were a couple things that concerned me about this hotel. The first morning we got up, we heard a transformer blow. When we went to leave our room, the elevator was broke. It was still broke when we left three days later. This is unacceptable. There were people in the breakfast room that obviously had mobility issues. And anyone checking out had to carry their suitcases down the stairs, three flights in our case. And we never saw any hotel staff helping. My other concern was the breakfast room and morning desk staff. The food in the breakfast room was fine, if it wasn’t out. There were multiple items out by 8 am. If you could find the breakfast room attendant, she very grumpily would get an item from the back. This happened every day. And how about coffee running out!!! This is not supposed to happen!!! And she would grump at you if you asked! Multiple times I had to go retrieve her from the front desk, where she and many hotel staff were visiting, and eating food from the breakfast room! This needs to be corrected!!! Very poor service.

Horrible nights sleep
I was in town with to be with my mom and dad, he is receiving cancer treatments at Memorial Herman Medical Center and wanted a place to rest my head. We had been up since 330 am the previous morning and we’re very exhausted. I called the front desk around 1145 to complain about loud stomping coming from the room above us she says she would look into it. The stomping continued all night, running back and forth, we did not get any sleep. Called the front desk again in the morning because stomping still continued, again she said she would check into it. Stomping and running is continuing.

A Divided America
The accommodations were to Marriott standards. The staff was non existent and very self absorbed and not very helpful. At check-in the desk clerk greeted us by asking how we were. I stated that it had been a rough and difficult day due medical issues and surgical preparations. The clerk responded by saying to that there was always someone having a worst day than we were. I told him I his remarks were hurtful and offensive. After saying he needed to be more considered and sensitive he shouted back I'm Sorry with a hateful stare. Being the new normal in America I decided to stay safe by not continuing the conversation. As a BonVoy member this is the most tence and unwelcomed atmosphere I've experienced yet.

Lots of light
The room was clean and all but the light from the parking lot was so bright we couldn’t sleep. Fortunately my wife was able to use some hair clips to close the curtain. The heavy curtains don’t close all the way. This is room 216.

Overall, it was fine for a one-night stay, but there were a few issues. The AC system was quite noisy, and unfortunately, the bed sheets were stained. I also found some hair in the bathtub. On a positive note, the breakfast was good

Will not use this property ever again. Where I live, a mandatory evacuation was issued and I had to return home and was not able to use the room. The property would NOT work with me be either refund or reschedule for another stay. HORRIBLE customer service. Shows Fairfield Inn is more about the money and NOT the customers.

Great facility! The bed was amazing. Very quiet! Breakfast was good but preferred more options. The toilet was low and you had to hold it. Customer service was great but saw some bickering amongst the staff and the lady st checkout did not want to be there.

I can't remember having a terrible experience in any hotel, first of all the elevator was broken, we have to use the stairs, the concierge at check in was nice enough to help with my luggage's but couldn't get help during checkout even though I asked for it, I have to drag my luggage's downstairs using the staircase which was pretty much unsafe. Stayed for 4 days and never got a day of full room service, I asked for it and was told it was every other day but I can come down after hours for towels or toiletries, the day for cleaning it wasn’t done because full room services was now every two days, and when it was the two days according to them it was still wasn't cleaned. I just wasn't up for moving around I would have left the very next day. I don't recommend this hotel, the service I got was terrible.!!

The elevator was down and only 1 door of the 2 for the stairs was working. So the room key didn’t work to open the door to the stairs. And of course the only room available was on the 3rd floor. We had to hike up 3 flights of stairs with small children and all of our belongings. The overall condition of the place was a little ran down. I certainly felt like we overpaid for a standard room. Kind of a disappointment.

Avoid this property, I wouldn’t have stayed but I couldn’t cancel since arrived at ten pm and they said I would not get a refund. The elevator was not working and the room they had me in was on the top (third) floor! The desk attendant said he would carry my bags up but he didn’t. I was there from out of town for a medical appointment early the next morning. I have a severe foot and leg injury and still I had to drag myself and my bags up the flights of stairs! Once in my room the smell of mildew was overwhelming but at that point after driving for 4 hours I just wanted a cold glass of water and to lie down. Well, there was no ice machine on the third floor I would have to drag myself down to the first floor lobby which was just not possible. I am disgusted with what the desk guy told me was a “Marriott property and very nice” SHAME ON THEM ILL NEVER STAY AT FAIRFIELD OR ANY MARRIOTT PROPERTY EVER AGAIN. Not to mention the next morning they acted like I’d asked for the Crown Jewels when I requested a receipt for my medical records!!!
