Beautiful room and unbelievably comfortable bed. Shower was gorgeous too though in the room but with a divider- as a solo traveller, not an issue for me but worth noting!

Floor in the habitation was dirty. I used the small foot towel to wipe the floors and wore socks for two days. The pool was not operable. The ceiling fan in the habitation is dirty and needs the blades adjusted as it has a continual squeak.

LUKEWARM WATER AND LOW PRESSURE
Hotels.com and others have this hotel as FABULOUS. Nothing fabulous when low shower water pressure (trickle) and less than lukewarm water...cold! Shower tile grimy, interior needs a fresh coat of paint and bathroom wall separated by plywood wall approximately 7 feet high and no ceiling. So all smell and sounds are in bedroom too. I asked another couple staying at opposite end of building and they were experiencing the same shower problems. I am a frequent user of this website and get rooms for my employees and me. First time we experience this horrible shower low water pressure and lukewarm water.

Very nice hotel, but the room we had didn't have a "bathroom". It had a toilet and shower separated from the room by a thin wall with no roof. No privacy and a strange layout inside the bathroom area. Come on, put a roof on the bathroom.

Truly a boutique hotel, La Casona reflects the typical historical architectural elements I've grown to love in Mexico. However, the rooms do have modern touches, were clean and comfortable. Great hot water, cosy beds and very friendly and helpful staff. Prime location too in the midst of Centro with great restaurants and sites around. Ample parking is also available. I will definitely stay again!
