Conveniently located, close to a few beaches, with decent food at fair prices. There was some confusion about charging incidentals to the room, and some very slow service in the restaurant, but the employees are pleasant and the rooms relatively inexpensive.

It was a basic and clean room. The friendly and helpful staffs uplift Toby's Resort. I will definitely come back again. I arrived very early and they did their best to allocate my room way before 3pm. I really appreciate how accommodating staffs were.

Perfect for what we needed
Perfect for what we needed . We booked two days for the start of our holiday before heading to Negril .5 minutes away from the airport which was perfect after travelling 10 hours to Jamaica. Room was clean , bed was comfortable. The restaurant had a nice selection on the menu and was cooked well and arrived at the table quickly . The restaurant and pool bar staff were very efficient and friendly . The main pool was nice and sunbeds and umbrellas for shade were in good condition. Location of the property was good for local shops to get basic groceries and alcoholic drinks . It was also convenient for bars and restaurants.

Haven’t been back in Jamaica since 2012 and I was very much looking forward to this vacation. My stay here was my first and definitely my last. I’ll say this though; if I’m to base my stay on staff friendly I’ll give it a B+. Cooked food is served cold even though it says cooked to order. I ordered a “Sprite” which was not just hot but also over 2 months expired.

As a Jamaican, I decided to stay in the central part of the resort area that me. We looked for convenience & reasonable rate,seen that were we going to stay for (17) days. Tobys Resort was the perfect place. It's been there for a few decades now,I knew that because I was born in Montego Bay. Anyway. Obviously they are trying their best to keep up the property and yes they do. The staffs are very helpful. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk ( I think her name is Charlene) and others like Orlando(Restaurants) and most of all JULIET (Housekeeping) were very good!!! Juliet kept our room stocked and cleaned . One positive criticism: The doors needs repair. On separate nights we saw a roach and a small lizard came in from under the door. We immediately opened the door and they made a u-turn 😱😂. Around the doors needs to be sealed. Anyway, we'll be back next year!! Madeline and Kenneth Sawyers Respect!

We checked in pretty late and we were extremely tired and hungry and needed a place for the night. Tamara at front Desk was very hospitality and kind. She was very helpful in directing us to a near by restaurant for dinner because the restaurant on property was already closed. She gave us our remote and keys and sent us with another staff to escort us to our room.. Tamara your the BEST! Thank you!

the hotel is outdated. The staff especially the check in staff is pleasant but lord the place needs to be updated and redo. The concept of the rooms is a great idea but inside I feel like 1980. I felt like a motel instead of hotel. Plus for the money it is not worth it
