The property was very clean and the staff were great. They all so had a wonderful rooftop patio. However, on a Saturday night it is very noisy.

The hotel is located on a busy street and had a small sign that could not be seen while driving and we went around in circles. When we finally found the hotel, the parking is no where near the hotel and we had to figure it out on our own. We finally found the garage which is about 3/4 of a kilometer away and zig zag through a neighborhood not familar to us.The staff was not able to give us proper The room was so small tha

It was a nice hotel. The room was large but a little dated. Although situated on a Main Street the room was remarkably quiet, you couldn’t hear the traffic or street noise. Excellent access to the train station, markets and main tourist restaurants. The staff was kind but not very helpful with luggage on check in or check out. They sit and watch as you try to navigate the 10 steps to the elevators. If you have mobility limitations, this can be a bit difficult. The best part is the roof top bar and restaurant, with expansive views of Palermo

Pros: proximity to bus and train station and sights of interest in Palermo.
View from roof terrace really cannot be beaten.
Croissants and coffee at breakfast were excellent.
There were more options available but that’s what I chose.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
I was able to check in early when I arrived in Palermo early.
Room view was great.
Cons: My room decor and furnishings were traditional bordering on out-dated and not the type of modern style reflected in any of the photos in the hotel’s profile.
Room 510, which was allocated to me, was next to the stairs to the roof terrace (and an unlocked piano….) and this meant almost constant noise all evening until the roof terrace bar finally closed at midnight. If I had been staying for more than one night then I would have insisted on being moved.
It’s not a bad hotel per se but I would not stay here again as I would not want to risk an evening of such disruption when all I wanted to do was sleep.

The staff were so helpful. I commented before that it would be nice if we had cups to make tea and when I returned the cups were in the room.
The only small issue was when having a shower the temp range from very hot to freezing.
i would stay there again

Very good stay in Palermo
This is a good, if slghtly unusual, hotel in a very good location for parts of the centro historico.
Our double room was large with a spacious bathroom. The beds comfortable.
When you leave the room and take the key the aircon goes off. It takes a while to return the room to the required temperature on return. Since our 4 night stay was in the middle of a very hot spell this was a factor in our comfort. The traffic outside in Via Roma can br noisy and more noticeable at night time.
The rooftop area has an amazing view and the breakfast is good enough to enjoy it with. In the evening the rooftop turns over to a different frsnchise for drinks and dinner. This is used by external grouos and the service has a slightly pushy and commercial feel.
The reception staff of the hotel are charming snd very helpful e.g. in assisting with onward travel in Sicily.
Finslly the lift which is the msin hotel connector betseen its 7 floors has been updsted and works much better thsn in eatlier reviews I saw. Waiting for it is occasionally subject to early morning congestion.
Palermo is a great place to visit all in all!
