Overall an excellent stay from the moment I checked in to when I left. The room I had was newly renovated, quite large, well laid out, eco friendly (although a recycling bin would have been good) and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable and the shower (controls) the best and easiest to use. A small Juliet type balcony was a really nice addition. I was offered daily breakfast at a promotional price and the buffet was good and very adequate. The staff at the hotel were all excellent but special mention of Alberto who was very thorough, friendly and professional and Alexander on the front desk who assisted with a dinner reservation. Staff at breakfast were all very good. The hotel is very well located and close to a lot of things. Would I stay here again… ABSOLUTELY

Clean and safe, close to restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra. Only negatives were lack of a shower stall and there was no safe in my room. Luckily staff gave me access to a lobby safe.

The room we were given did not have adequate working air conditioning. I turned the air conditioning at the coldest setting, thinking it would Take time to cool down. I unfortunately the AC did not work all night and had extremely difficulty sleeping. I complained the the hotel staff in the morning, they said there is nothing they can do. A refund should be given.

This property is not up to the standard of other NH Collection Hotels. This hotel is in a great location - close to shops, dining and many tourist sites in the middle of Granada. It's an older property with lots of character, and according to locals quite legendary as it was the first modern hotel in town when built (about 100 years ago). Staff were friendly and helpful. Were able to recommend dinner options and tickets to a flamenco show. The downside is the condition of the rooms. They are 3 star at best. The room was small, the chairs threadbare, the tiles chipped and the mirror cracked (covered up with gaffer tape). Small number of towels, no robes, no face towels. I have stayed at a number of other NH Collection locations around Europe and always find them in good condition and worthy of being considered a 4 start hotel. Not this one. If the rooms were refurbished I'm sure it would be fine.

It’s obvious this hotel has not been renovated in a long time. The bed was hard as a rock, the pillows terrible, and the air conditioning barely worked—a big problem when it’s 40°C outside.
