One of the highlights for me is their unique in-house sauna experience a perfect way to relax and soak in Finnish culture without leaving the hotel. The studio rooms are brilliantly designed, combining style and practicality in a way that feels both luxurious and smart. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned, making the space not only beautiful but also incredibly functional. UNITY Helsinki has become my go-to place in the city, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay in Helsinki

UNITY is an excellent apartment hotel in one of the new residential areas in Helsinki, close to the Ferries' West Terminal, which makes it convenient for cruisers to stay overnight. It is easy to find and has a nice location with tram stops, cafes and shops around. It is only 10 minutes by tram away from central Helsinki. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is well kept and is exceptionally clean. The rooms are very cosy and clean, and boast of all one needs for a stay. The bathroom has excellent-quality towels and toiletries.

I like the room & having a private balcony! The biggest critique is that I didn’t know the bed would be upstairs and the staircase steps are narrow, I think they should put that in the description as for instance; had my dad stayed here, stairs are on safe for him as he often trips so it would have been a safety concern. I like to watch tv to fall asleep and tv is downstairs. Everything was really nice & kitchen wise too but the walls were thin so I can constantly hear the dishwasher being run or it may have been the laundry room 2 floors down but it was being heard somewhere at night into the morning. And I can hear a couple talking Nextdoor: the location is outskirts of city center and I thought I could reach there easily by bike but it does take awhile so tram is recommended. But I would stay here again.

A well priced modern apartment hotel with minimal furnishings and a large but poorly designed bathroom. Well equipped kitchenette. Key disappointments with the property include ineffective and restricted heating system - the room never reaches target maximum ‘permitted’ temperature, yet the corridors and public spaces were all heated to a noticeably warmer temperature. The stairs to the loft style bedroom are incredibly steep and a high accident risk! Walk in shower is narrow and poorly screened. No vanity counter space means all toiletries must be unpacked into mirror cabinet with narrow shelves. Sofa lacked cushions. Bed pillows were very small and only two in total are provided for the queen size bed.

The room and hotel are very nice. However, when I arrived, there was a lady before me checking in. The receptionist seemed stressed and not very friendly. After a while it was my turn to check in. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming and during my check in, the lady who had checked in before me returned to say there was a man in their room. The receptionist didn't believe her at first and the overall service wasn't very customer friendly. When I checked out I had to call the receptionist by phone because she was away from the reception desk. The curly haired lady at reception was a bit nicer than the previous receptionist.

Daria at the reception was very helpful and let us check in earlier because the room was ready. The room was modedrn and spacious. The only thing is the lack of hooks to hang clothes and that it was not possible to turn off the light in the toilet which shone directly towards the person sleeping. Also a bed lamp (for reading) would have been nice. But overall a really great stay

Highly recommend staying here. Super clean, room had all the essentials. Tram to city a 2 min walk. Ferry harbor is a 5 min tram ride. Up and coming area. And do not forget to grab a craft beer at Barley & Bait!

Hotelli hyvällä paikalla, hieno merimaisema parvekkeelta. Huoneen lattia nuhjuinen ja kulunut, likainen. Muuten hieno asunto. Yläkerrassa oli bileet yömyöhään. En ymmärrä miksi ylimmän kerroksen huoneita oli edes buukattu. Mahdoton nukkua siinä metelissä. Respa välinpitämätön. Tympeä henkilökunta. Kattoterassille tai saunoihin ei päässyt vaan töykeästi käännytettiin pois. Asiasta ei ilmoitettu mitenkään etukäteen. Surkein aamupala ikinä. Lisäksi henkilökunta kyttäämässä vieressä jokaista suupalaa. Pöydät siivoomatta ja likaiset.

Air conditioning was insufficient. It's auto operation in the rooms and cannot be controlled. Hotel states it is as cool as possible however the pubkic areas were much more comfortable than the rooms. Spent many a hot night. Couldnt sleep in the bed as the loft was even warmer. Soent a week on the sofa.
