First class in every respect
The hotel is superlative in every respect. The people are helpful, articulate, attentive and warmly friendly. Nothing is too much and nothing is difficult. We arrived unexpectedly, following a mandatory evacuation because of Hurricane Milton. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and turned a crisis into an opportunity for helpful R & R.

Does not live up to a Ritz property
I would not call this hotel a Ritz Carlton. The rooms feel sterile and too big since there is minimal furniture. It’s like they didn’t have the budgets to fill the room with furniture. Not a cozy or boutique feel that I typically prefer. Bathrooms are spacious and nice. The restaurant downstairs has a pretty good menu and the coffee bar in the morning is convenient. In terms of the area, Fort Lauderdale has really gone downhill in the beach area. The property is safe but I wouldn’t walk around at night alone. Would come again for business and stay here but not for pleasure.
