Ideal for short trips
Ideal for a night stay whilst visiting Bath for the Christmas market. Room small but had everything you need, comfortable bed and powerful shower. Lovely location, park and ride into bath is a short walk away. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but what we had was nice. Staff were all friendly. Would stay again!

We enjoyed this property last time we stayed, so booked again.
Unfortunately this time, we were in a different room with an extremely creaky bed, which kept me awake most of the night. Upon arrival there were (what appeared to be) some flakes of pastry left on the desk from the previous inhabitants. The morning following the awful night’s sleep, there was no hot water for the shower, so my Mum elected to shower after her breakfast. I raised the water issue at the bar and was told that I probably hadn’t released the child lock but that they’d get one of the members of staff to take a look. I had not seen a child lock on the shower (and still couldn’t when we returned to the room after breakfast). As we were nearing check out time, my 71 year old Mum had to take an ice cold shower as there still appeared to be an issue with the water (and cold water coming from the hot tap in the sink indicated that it was not an issue with the shower). About half an hour before check-out, there was a knock on the door to let us know that the boiler had been off and the issue was now fixed, but it was too late for us.
The breakfast was good and the meal we had there the night before was also good (although somewhat limited as I don’t eat meat or mushrooms). The young ladies who were running the bar in the evening were very good and a credit to the establishment.
Could really do with some privacy film on the windows as anyone staying can look right into the windows of the other rooms.
