This was a great hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very spacious. I loved the old town location! Great for site-seeing and shopping. Only minus was breakfast was overpriced.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of the Altstadt, so everywhere within the old town is just a short journey. The rooms are very spacious, and the staff were a delight - all very friendly and helpful. A gem, and somewhere we would definitely stay again.

Underwhelming
Superior room photos clearly show lounge chairs and a large room, but the photos were not representative of the room provided so we were disappointed. There is also a club nearby and we could hear music till 3 am. The shower handle was difficult to use. Overall it was an underwhelming stay though the location is ideal.

Great location in old Salzburg
Excellent stay at the Radisson Blu in Salzburg - perfect location to wander the streets of old Salzburg, and just a short walk over the bridge to the main centre of town. It was a bit far to walk from the train station though so we caught a taxi to and from there which was around 20euro. We had the 3 rooms up on the 5th floor which were all very different - a little bit strange since we booked 3 of the same room types but they were good none the less. The elevator didn’t go all the way to the 5th floor though so our suitcases had to be carried up a set of stairs. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and attentive. The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Would highly recommend for anyone exploring Salzburg.

Great hotel and location
We stayed for two nights in Salzburg. I wanted to find a hotel in the Old City, and this was the perfect choice. The location was convenient with one exit leading into the old city and one out to the street just outside where we could catch an Uber when we needed to. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

A great choice in a beautiful city
A lovely old building (from the 1300’s!) but nicely updated amenities and a spacious bedroom. My room had no view but some do. Excellent breakfast! Hotel has a front and back entrance- back entrance/exit lead to shops and not far from Christmas markets. Very friendly staff!

Great place for being hundreds of years old. Room very large with sitting area not much of a view but did not spend much in the room. Perfect area to stay middle of town . Front desk check in lady is unprofessional and rude. Extremely shrewd. Everyone else in the hotel was pleasant except for the lady with glasses who checked us in. It was such a put off at the start of a vacation. Room was really small. Two beds were joined together to make a double bed. Bathroom shower and the glass enclosure was difficult to operate. The location however was perfect. But there are better hotels around the same location too so don’t recommend this one.
