Meh.
Not remarkable. The hotel is clean and styled as boutique but all that means is everything is decorative and tiny. There are no frills or amenities. The evening cookies were not available one hr after they were made available, and the touted morning cinnamon rolls were not ready at 7:45 a.m. and at 8:30 it was clear they had just come from the fridge as they were icy cold. Lastly, they need to install towel bars in the bathrooms. They provide a single hook. All pretty pretenses but no real comfort substance.

Excellent overnight stay
This hotel was new last year and still in pristine condition. The bed was comfortable with good-size pillows. Service at the rooftop restaurant overlooking the lake was friendly. We appreciated the cookies in the evening and the fresh coffee and cinnamon rolls in the morning.

We had a very nice stay at the Alexandra Inn. The rooms are clean, balconies overlooking the east bay were ample size for two and the amenities are good for a smaller hotel. The beach was nice although there are no umbrellas and the lounge chairs are not super comfortable. We would stay here again!

The inn is lovely! It is right on the beach and close to all of the local attractions and entertainments. My room was comfortable, cozy and elegantly appointed with everything I could ask for. The view of the lake and the night sky from my balcony were amazing.

The Alexandra Inn is certainly a hidden gem of Traverse and we'd love to stay there again. We had a lakeview balcony and it was stunning. We stayed as a couple and it was absolutely perfect for us. It's suited for 4 people, but it's really narrow so there's not much room to move around if you bring the family. It's a short drive to downtown and the sunset is unbeatable. Beach is private and well maintained. Excellent sand and lounge chairs provided. We stayed in the late summer so Blush had limited hours so hopefully we'll get a chance to dine there next time!

Our first time visiting traverse city and it didn’t disappoint! The location was perfect, it felt serene and peaceful, 10 minute drive to downtown and the vibe was fun and easy to navigate with a toddler. The room was clean the bathroom was stocked with soft towels and travel essentials. The balcony overlooking the bay was the cherry on top. Being able to walk from the hotel into the sand and enjoy the water was amazing! The only minor bummer was the rooftop bar and restaurant is only open on the weekend which I overlooked when booking our stay. Everything was so comfortable and convenient it made it extremely easy to relax and transport us to a place of tranquil beauty. Thank you staff at the Alexandra inn for a memorable stay! We can’t wait to come back. MP
