Our overall experience at Xica was pretty bad. The property has a lot of potential and some of the staff are excellent, but overall bad management and lack of basic guest service left us very disappointed. Every morning we ordered the same thing for breakfast and only once they got our order right. We arrived on our first night and there was no electric due to a power outage in the neighbourhood, and there were no candles or flashlights available, and the restaurant was closed. The management never apologized for the inconvenience or credited anything to compensate us. There were mosquitos and ants in the room, and even a large cockroach. In the bathroom a urine smell permeated the place. We really don’t recommend to anyone to stay at that hotel.
