The smaller villa we stayed in was beautiful, all external walls were glass and in the middle of nature. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. You don't really need to go elsewhere to see the rainforest or wildlife. The included breakfast was good. Tour buses do pick up from this location. However, it is highly recommended that you have a car if you stay here.

We liked the location and size of the Condo but the property felt old and tired. The restaurant on site was under construction and the condo was poorly maintained and had uncomfortable beds. The included breakfast was not as advertised. No bacon or sausage and cold food. We left and for d food in town that was way better A short walk to the waterfall was a great location however I would not recommend

Our stay at Arenal Waterfall Lodge was the BEST and MOST comfortable too. The air condition unit in our room was working very well and it met my standards. The waterfall place down the street was so Amazing and Premium quality TOP NOTCH DELICIOUS food AND wonderful drinks at RIO LOUNGE bar. The rio steak sandwich that I ate at the bar was the BEST I had in Costa Rica. Arlette and Steven both serviced us at the bar with pleasant and welcoming service.

Everything was great but the street to go to cabin. There was a lot of rain so if you dont have a 4x4 vehicle, yes u may find some areas slippery. Be ready for lots of noise (animals) at night. If you looking for a quiet place this may not be it. For me was great!

Absolutely beautiful and extremely quiet. I didn’t really know other people were there except at breakfast. Food was good and a nice start. Plenty of places to explore on the property. I loved our little glass house in the middle of nature. Hummingbirds and multiple animals ther birds. Sat and watched 3 toucans in the tree from the pool. Water was very cold so we only used one day. We stayed 3 nights and loved staying here.
