Excellent hotel, a little off the beaten track and catering for the more discerning crowd. We shared a palatial room that was very affordable. The staff are sensational. Highly recommend if you don’t want the standard intercontinental experience, but something a little more boutique

Elegant

We've stayed here twice now. The place has a nice quiet lovely elegance about it. As soon as you walk off the street the peacefulness is so welcoming. The decor of the rooms, the art work throughout the place, the ceramic lighting and all the fit out is beautiful. The staff are there but not in your face. Even though it was full it seemed like the place was essentially ours.

Spacious villa with a beautiful central courtyard and pool. Serene and pristine condition with beautiful artwork, statues and water features. Hotel will leave you with a night time story every night on your bed which is a nice touch. Beach is only a five minute walk from the hotel with plenty of places to dine. The only complaint is if you book including breakfast, they do not include a sweet dish. However the Breakfast is nice with fresh juice served

The place has really nice surroundings, a large open garden and in general very spacious feeling. The room was also nice and spacious and in good condition. However, they could consider making more options to store unpacked clothing in closets or so. We did not have enough options for our clothes. Also, staying in Bali and suites oftentimes comes with an open bathroom to the outside, which is a nice touch, however, it would have been nice if the hotel considered providing mosquito repellent especially for the bathroom (which they did occasionally). It was not a problem for us, but something the hotel may consider. The staff is incredible professional and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and they have a lot of different and even healthy options, we really enjoyed our mornings and the breakfast options. The pool area was again large and spacious and even if the hotel can occupy several guests, you do not have the feeling that the pool area is busy or anything. On the contrary, the pool area is quiet, spacious and very nice with good sun beds, umbrellas and possibility to order food and beverages.

Excellent Stay at Sudamala Resort

Staying at Sudamala Resort was a relaxing, comfortable, and overall high-quality experience. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The suites are well taken care of and aesthetically pleasing. The pool and lunch menu are fantastic. The spa is top tier. I really enjoyed the free yoga on Friday morning as well.

泊まってみたかったホテルです。 宿泊した当日にウエディングパーティーが庭で行われており、23:00ごろまで騒がしかった。ゆったり静かに過ごしたかったので運が悪かったです。それでも、朝はのんびりと美味しい朝食をいただきながら良い雰囲気を味わえました。 ビーチまで徒歩10分弱程かかるので、昼間は少し辛い距離です。

Beautiful traditional hotel - highly recommend

Have wanted to stay at this beautiful hotel for ages. Staff are lovely and room was traditional and gorgeous. Enjoyed the day spa. Dogs barking early every morning was a little annoying but not the hotels fault. Would definitely come back to stay,

Beautifully appointed small resort. The gardens, rooms and pool are all beautiful. Staff are always friendly and helpful although we did start to get a bit annoyed by often being approached by staff to on sell their experiences and outings. This could be toned down. On the third night of our six night stay there was a dinner in the garden to which our room looked out onto with about 50 people. They had a live band also. We were not informed at the time of booking and to be honest had we been, we would not have booked this hotel. We complained to the staff and they promptly upgraded our room to a quieter part of the resort. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again after checking if they had any large dinners booked.

Unbeschreiblich, das trifft es wohl am besten. Eine kleine Oase in der Hektik von Sanur. Tolle balinesische Architektur, wundervoller Garten und Pool, aber am wichtigsten, mit unfassbar tollen Mitarbeitern. Hier schaffen die Mitarbeiter etwas, das selten klappt, man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Das Team ist unbeschreiblich, nach dem ersten Tag weiß jeder wie man heißt, Wünsche werden einem von den Augen abgelesen und was ich besonders hervorheben möchte, ganz ganz kinderliebes Personal. Das habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich Zeit genommen mit meinen Kindern die Fische zu füttern und ihnen einiges zu erklären. Wenn sie ein Hotel in sanur benötigen, buchen sie das Sudamala, sie werden begeistert sein. Wir werden auf jedenfall nochmal kommen, herausragendes Hotel mit unglaublichen Mitarbeitern, bitte weiter so.

I stayed at Sudamala Resort in Sanur having travelled to Bali for the first time solo. I could not have felt more at ease and comforted by the staff and the premises. The hotel is well maintained and has an authentic Balinese feel. Would recommend to anyone.
