Nice check-in!
Two trainee staff did our check-in. One of them (Saito san?) served us with a great smile, and the other (Sugi san?) did too, and spoke English very well. They gave us a very good impression of the hotel!

First dirty hotel room in Japan
We changed hotels because the floor was filthy, the beds were sub-standard and the other rooms that were shown were just as bad. The staff was very polite and apologetic.

Value with good reasonable comfort.
Reasonable comfort with limited parking facilities. Would be a walking distance of about 10 to 15 minustes depending on which route one takes to the train station as surrounding area does not have much to shop and eat. Hotel staff are helpful and breakfast is mainly traditional style.

Our stay
Comfortable but very small quarters. My husband is 6’1” and the bed was small and hard so sleep was not great. The front desk was friendly and the overall experience was good.

A hard night
The staff and service was okay. The room was extremely small. Two people could move around at the same time. The bed and pillows were both very hard and the pillows were flat. The carpet was filthy looking with spill stains everywhere. The bathroom was well stocked with good quality products. The high spot was the breakfast; which was freshly made and delicious.

This hotel is to usual and consistent good APA standards, it's 15 mins walk from JR station on completely flat roads and in fact there is a walkway basically (without Cars) via the Seibu Mall exit right down the Asahi River. Take a left and you'll see the APA sign 2 blocks up. Senshu Park is close by and is a magical place in Autumn or Spring and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend to those on.a budget who are not in hotel room much and understand that most/average Japanese business hotels are not the 'Ritz' but are honest and clean.
