Comfort at an easy price.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Large room; cleaned daily (although a smashed spider on the shower wall was never removed). Friendly staff willing to help. The only way to the beach is through the Icon Bali mall when it is open so sunrise at the beach was difficult but amazing. The traffic in this region was unbelievably bad.

Helt fint hotell, med hyggelige ansatte. Sanur er derimot ikke et fint feriested for oss, men mer en mellomstasjon fra Bali til andre øyer. Når vi ser tilbake er dette et sted vi helst ville vært foruten og heller dratt direkte vekk fra øya. Nusa Penida som er en times tid unna anbefales derimot på det sterkeste.

Příjemný menší hotel se super zaměstnanci, kteří vám se vším pomohou. Hotel je trochu zapadlý, takže není na první pohled vidět z ulice. Pokoje jsou komfortní a koupelna také. Hotel má na střeše bazén, který je ale velmi znčištěný až jsme se v něm skoro báli koupat :-(

Good hotel with nice pool

The hotel is located close to the main road and very quiet. It is a charming little hotel with a nice pool and friendly owner. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Okay but there are better options in Sanur

Prices for Svarna are moderate but there are, in my opinion, better options around for a similar price. The place doesn't have any real Balinese character. There's nowhere to sit outside your room so you're stuck inside but there's only the bed or a writing desk and chair to sit on. The Hotels.com hotel information indicated there were bathrobes and a turndown service but there were neither. The Hotels.com site also advises there is a balcony but there isn't - it's just a veranda for everyone to walk along to get to their rooms. The room itself is generally fine - reasonably sized with good storage in the wardrobe which includes a safe (at floor level which makes it difficult to access). Good sized small fridge is provided. The lighting is okay although there aren't any proper reading lights and there are no bedside switches to turn lights on or off which is a bit of a pain at night. The bathroom is adequate though could do with some shelf space for putting your toiletries, etc. The pool area, while relatively small, is okay for a quick dip. There are three pool lounges on the deck. The staff at Svarna seem friendly enough but not always that efficient although I didn't have a lot of interaction with them. The hotel's location is one of its best features as it is close to just about everything you need or are likely to do in Sanur including the beach, shops and restaurants. Having a proper money changer (MPB) out the front of the hotel is handy too.

Niet schoon, geen wifi

Na een eerder bezoek, ben ik nu toch minder enthousiast. De kamer die ik nu had was smoezelig. Badkamer was niet proper, kalkaanslag overal. Wasbak niet schoon. Ook lag WiFi al vier dagen plat. Om die reden de boeking ongedaan te maken, werd afgewezen. Het zwembad vertoont alggroei aan de randen en de tegels zijn spekglad

Alles lekker nieuw en luxe

Bij aankomst verwacht je niet dat er zo'n lekker hotel schuilt aan een drukke straat. Ik sliep op bovenste verdieping in een grote kamer met airco. Weinig ramen waardoor het wat duister ovrrkomt. Geen licht n last boven het bureau. Verder alles keurig. Van het geluid van de watertank had ik niet zo'n last. Het dakzwenbad is super. Leuk uitzicht. Voor die prijs wel een aanrader
