If you come to tokyo for your vacation, you should consider check out this onsen.they have a free shuttle bus from shinjuku every day its about 4-5hrs rides, not to mention they have a very special onsen water....

Great for onsen
Great indoor and outdoor onsen. Buffet breakfast and dinner are both great as well. Rooms are somewhat dated, but still ok.
