The Whole place is old, paint peeling everywhere along with rust. Got a room with a view of the back of the hotel. The hallway smelled horrible and the "restaurant" on the top floor was reservation only and wouldn't serve us even though it was empty. Definitely don't recommend and will not visit again.

Authentic Japanese stay
The hotel was comfortable, meals were large and good (so long as you like true Japanese meals). Room with tatami was comfortable. The is was that hotels.com said they had English speaking but really did not. Told check -in at 2 pm but really 4. With little English hard to learn how to take buses or get around. We did figure out on our own. Price included meals although said not (but this was good).
