Perfect in Every Way!
This is a hidden gem! With all the many places we could’ve stayed, Moseley was perfect! Walkable to restaurants and shopping. The house is beautiful, the bedding and linens were perfection! The room was VERY spacious and clean! We stayed in room 6 in the Inn and had a huge private balcony. One of the greatest perks of staying IN the Inn was room service breakfast. We ordered the night before with our desired time of delivery and it was all cooked to perfection, including crisp bacon and the fresh fruit was delicious! Check in / out was easy, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Great hospitality Moseley!

The Inn is a gem
Retro facility with classic charm. Within walking distance to the downtown business district. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful stay! I booked last minute based on prior reviews and Moseley Cottage did not disappoint. I had a king room in the motel section. I was able to check in early without issue around 12:30, as housekeeping staff was finishing up. They were very friendly as well as front desk. The unit was very clean and welcoming. The grounds were in beautiful shape and the landscaping picturesque. The best part was the proximity to Main street with all the shops and restaurants. The motel is tucked away off a side street but 30 seconds on foot to the main town. You could never tell, the street was peaceful and quiet. You are also able to gain entry to Acadia with relative ease, as the park is just miles away. Would highly recommend and stay here again!

This is a lovely older house which has been made into guest rooms. The walk up the stairs was somewhat challenging but otherwise, it was very comfortable and the owner was very helpful and caring. It is very convenient to shops, restaurants, and the Abbe Museum, which was the focus of my visit. The front veranda/porch adds a pleasant and comfortable bonus room.

This property is so quaint, and well kept. Even the smokers had an adorable outdoor area to be in! The staff were very friendly.
Our only issue was that our bed was too hard for us. Fortunately, we had a topper along, so that helped.

The property served our needs for a long weekend. We stayed in the attached “motel rooms” next to the house. Overall the room was clean. Sadly, the place is in terrible need of renovations, and with the amount charged for a very basic room, it should be able to cover some updating. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable and my husband and I rolled into each other multiple times throughout the night due to the sinking middle. While we were there is was actually warmer than usual and the window AC unit was mediocre at best. The over $300 we paid nightly did not include the breakfast at the “bed and breakfast” or really any other available services. Cleaning came around every third day which was all we were there for. We did receive new towels per request. The landscape was lovely and the location was easy and accessible to downtown bar harbor.
