Very friendly staff was the highlight of the trip. We arrived in Seattle early for an appointment at Childrens Hospital early the next day. Had a 4 year old and 3 month old with us and they let us check in before 4, a real plus with 2 small kiddos and no place to go. A pack and play was promptly brought to our room. although the rooms were outdated (outlets that would not keep a plug in and very few) the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The added bonus was that we had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and a hair dryer in the room, plus very close to the hospital the next day. Downside was the construction noise outside our window, which I realize was outside f their control, but the fact that the staff that greeted us was friendly and courteous made all the difference in the world. I would definitely return as the value fo this room was worth what we paid for the convenience of being close to the hospital and many places we could walk to to grab a bite to eat from here without having to drive. The internet came and went and was slow, but I factor that it may have been that we had a room that was farthest away from the office.

The breakfast was pictures as cereal, waffles, etc... but was a paper bag handed out with fruit, granola bar and a bottle of water. The water took forever to get hot.

The property was very old and run down. The front desk staff both in the evening and the morning were great! There was mold all around the window sill, the entire place should be a rebuild. It seems especially run down when you walk across the street to the beautiful University Village area that is all new and lovely. The towel rack was broken, there were holes in the walls, the room had an odd smell and there was a large road construction area right outside our room.

As you tell Travelodge by Wyndham Seattle University is an quiet old building. the first thing that I notice was the furniture and the gap between doors. Also, I was bit of shaky having feet of the ground because of the carpet seemed ancient. there are workarounds to that some seem only required few bucks extra. (i.e. one time use recyclable shoes and etc.) I kinda liked the breakfast option because its a to go bag. And the bathroom is just amazing... however, I wouldn't recommend doing anything out of the ordinary in the hotel rooms asides sleeping because of the comments mentioned.

Nice people, bad repair on property.
The property is not in good repair. The door frame to my room looked like someone either tried to break out, or break in. Shower curtain rod falling off, paint pealing, just in bad repair.. But the bed was comfortable and the people were nice.

The hotel didn't honor Expedia reservation and I had to pay again onsite to check in. I had to call Expedia and Expedia had to call the hotel to clarify the reservation. The hotel promised to refund credit card charge immediately, but it's still not refunded after 2 days.

Had to cancel the rest of the stay
The pictures pretty much sum up the room we had. It confirmed that I will never stay at Travellodge ever again. We booked it for 4 nights but we begrudgingly stayed one night. Never again. There was holes in the sheets, rot everywhere.
