The Bienville House was a great choice for the French Quarter Festival. The location couldn't have been better as we could walk to everything! Highly recommend. Hotel itself was charming and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location , historical hotel!

Both the ladies at front desk were helpful. They held our luggage u til room was ready. Love this historical hotel. Location was perfect and right down the street from the ruby slipper. Walkable to all the French quarter! If we are in New Orleans again, this will be our place to sfay.

We had a lovely stay in New Orleans this week. The historic hotel is very centrally located. Our room was beautiful and had a great bed and beautiful courtyard. Will definitely book here again if we return to NOLA.

Overall it was a good hotel. Had read reviews beforehand about thin walls and creaky floors so we brought a sound machine to help with that, which it did. No other issues though. Great location - close enough to everything in the Quarter but far enough away from Bourbon St not to have to deal with that noise.

Charming French Quarter Hotel

Charming French Quarter hotel near the river and perfectly walkable to Bourbon and Canal. Nearby attractions are all walkable - Cafe DuMonde, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the hotel has a unique layout and pretty courtyard area. It is older but that is part of the charm and the bathroom was nice and updated.

We did not get to stay at The Famous Bienville because their HVAC system went down. They arranged accommodations for us at Hotel Monteleone. Very fair comparison. Nice place. Thank you to The Bienville for being so caring for our trip.
