Central Salzburg and Mirabell Gardens
Amazing place to stay close to the centre of Salzburg. We received an excellent welcome and were able to drop out bags early. The room was of a good size and was well provisioned. We were to the rear of the hotel where it was quiet. The room we had, had no aircon which wasnt a problem for us but others may wish to be able to adjust the temperature. The staff were excellent and were always happy to assist. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options

Marvellous place to stay in the Mirabellplatz area of Salzburg. Great incredibly knowledgeable staff especially Julia & Madhi with their helpful recommendations & friendliness. The 3 person room was spacious & clean as well as a delicious breakfast. Perfect location for the original Sound of Music bus tour. Throughly enjoyed my mid-week break in this fabulous musical city.

This was a decent hotel, clean with friendly and helpful staff. I’m not sure why it is classified as a four star hotel, as it did not meet my expectations compared to other four star hotels I have stayed at in Europe. I would recommend if you get a good price, but not if you pay four star price.

We paid $370 for a room that was old and outdated. The towels in our room were both dirty, one of them with lipstick still on the towel! This hotel is not a 4 star hotel and totally overpriced!

Hotel am Mirabellplatz is a lovely, modernized facility in a great location. Very easy walking distance to the Mirabelle palace and gardens, many restaurants and easy walking to both the old town and across the river to many beautiful spots. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent.. very possibly the best buffet breakfast of our trip (this was our 7th hotel.) The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Highly recommend.
