Oskarshamn Hotel

We selected this hotel because of its location and positive reviews. We were in the area to visit relatives of my father’s father. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast and fika and dinner were delicious. There is a set menu for dinner, in addition to salad options. Fresh fruit for breakfast was a treat. All staff were friendly and helpful. There were even games, including chess, checkers, dominoes, and others. It was a short walk to the Doderhult Museum. We visited from Michigan, USA.

Bra hotell i Oskarshamn

Oskarshamn är en stad med östermalmskomplex, väldigt otillgänglig för främlingen, som lätt får för sig att varenda gata antingen är enkelriktad (åt fel håll) eller förbjuden infart. Vi bodde i ett annex tvärs över gatan från hotellet självt, nyinrett med hög standard. Utmärkt frukostbuffé.

Sentralt og greit i Oscarshamn nær båt til Visby

En natts overnatting med ankomst midt på natten pga fergeproblemer. Ingen mat ved ankomst. Til tross for beskjed. Hyggelig resepsjonist. Rom i sidebygning. Bekmørk korridor. Fant ikke bryter. Hyggelig, men lite rom og lite bagasjeplass. Gode senger. Bra frokost. Dårlig «juice». Smakløs eplejuice minnet mer om vann.
