The service was not great. The staff that checked us in was unfriendly. Our room was not maintained on a daily basis. Coffee was never ready when I went into the lobby, it felt like I was inconveniencing the staff because I was looking for coffee.

But the bedspreads had cigarette burns in them, the TV remote was secured to the night stand, the rolling desk chair's faux leather was peeling, and we decided to get up super early and hit the road because we didn't even want to stay long enough to take a shower. It is your average hotel room. I would not expect much. My boyfriend and I had to heavily clean the room, so beware of that. Also, the room smelled of smoke even though it was "non-smoking". I recommend you invest in candles and plug-ins for the duration of your stay. The location is about 13 minutes away from the beach by car, so that was a plus for us.

The room isnt clean enough. And the non smoking room smells, we have to buy out own spray. Wish I booked a hotel closed to the beach. It was almost the same price. Í wasn’t comfortable sleeping here, glad I always go home late and tired and just take melatonin to sleep right away.

Tried to cancel 2 days prior to reservation but the insurer's were NOT able to get in contact with the property owner after multiple attempts. NEVER, NEVER , NEVER book from a place that will not answer the phone. Will NOT book with an ECONO LODGE ever AGAIN!!!!!!
