Not a bad place.
Valets were super-friendly and the highlight of the trip. Room was clean. Very quiet. Location was great. My one gripe is that they allowed my girlfriend's obviously special needs father to order expensive room service while I was out smoking a cigarette and she was sleeping. For some reason, they didn't even think to check with me about that. Seems logical to confirm an order under those circumstances. On top of that, the food was not great. Hotel food never is good though, so I view this more as a norm in the industry than a flaw in the establishment. That aside, it's not a bad place. I'd stay there again if he wasn't with me. Otherwise, I would find an establishment that better serves and protects the special needs community.

Staff was extremely friendly. I made a special request prior to arriving and they had things prepared per my request.

High price point for poor room conditions
The hotel (or at least our room) was very run down. It had plastic bags over the fire sprinklers, the pull-out couch cushions were filthy with stains, and a lot of the walls and surfaces were really marked up and damaged. The lotion in our room had clearly been used before and house-keeping failed to turn off an early morning alarm that woke us before 6 am. We were also disappointed to find out that the pool was closed - which wasn't mentioned at all on the website. While I'm willing to give hotels the benefit of the doubt due to COVID-19 and likely strained staffing, the price point for our room was over $100 more and nowhere near as nice as another hotel in the area where we stayed coming back from our travels.

Will not be returning
We picked this hotel for the roof top pool....upon arrival we found out it was closed. This really should’ve been communicated prior to booking. Also the room service menu was limited to five items… Also not communicated. The window tint on the large windows overlooking downtown Columbus does not seem to have been put on properly so you couldn’t even look out the windows without seeing a mess. Definitely not worth the price. I also received a phone call at 6:30 AM saying they could not fulfill our breakfast order… Woke everybody up in the room. Very rude.
