The service and the placement were so good, also glad to be upgraded. Thanks for that. It’s a plus to have a checkout at noon.

It was small but all the finishes were hugh quality. It was exactly what I hoped for. A clean, quiet place to sleep during my travels.

Exceeded expectations
My stay really exceeded all expectations. I just needed to place the flop after shopping and doing things with friends in Palm Springs. The hotel was very quiet, and the whole premises was very well lighted. I felt safe there. Staff was very nice. Cal, who apparently is the manager, was there when I checked in and checked out and he was very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, great location
Nicely refurbished hotel in a great location - right across the street from Vienna’s main train station and steps away from the underground and tram. Quiet, clean and very nice at a great price. One thing to be aware of: the sign on the hotel says “Congress Hotel.” I think they haven’t gotten signage for the rebrand yet, so it was a little confusing finding the place. Nice restaurant right down the block.

Basic boutique hotel in an old building. Room is not too spacious but good enough for 2 ppl. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is a bit small but clean. Breakfast buffet is good with hot and cold food items. Situated just across the main train station and walking distance to subway and tram stations. 3 subway stations from Innerstadt. Overall it’s a decent place to stay.

Perfect choice of stay in Vienna
The hotel was perfectly located just in front of the Vienna main train station. It is part of the Garner group so it has that name on front of it, but if you go at the entrance you will read the sign of Yggotel Mesje.
The reception was handled perfectly from Victoria and she offered all the necessary info and help any time we meet her at the reception desk. A very sweet girl and always answering people with a smile.
Room 115 was perfect for a family of four, with a modest view on the internal side of the building but that is a good thing as it offered all the calm we needed. It was more like an apartment with to rooms one for the couple and one with two beds for the children.
Breakfast was served in another hotel 150m on the left of our hotel so that was not a problem at all. Breakfast was abundant and nice considering the price we paid.
I will surely consider this hotel again if we travel to Vienna in the future.

Nice stay
Nice place and friendly service. Location is key. Water was either scalding or frigid and low pressure unfortunately.

A short walk from the main station, so convenient. Underground connection, or about half an hour’s walk from old city. Friendly staff, decent rooms. But poor Wi-Fi, only one power point, which also powered the bedside light. No air con. Thin walls. Tight entrance to shower. Fine, but be aware of its limitations.

There were no facilities in the room. no Air conditioning. Just provided 1 small table fan for 2 rooms (6 beds). there were two TV's, none of them worked. complaints were not addressed. The receptionist just kept saying sorry for everything. No refund provided for all the inconvenience.

The room I booked was the cheapest one, but it had a powrrful smell upon opening the door. The heating was high even though outside it was 24 degrees, and the knob didnt work. The man at the front desk came to see but didnt offer a solution. It was late but he didnt inform the front desk morning staff either.
The room was so small I hit my elbows on the shower wall, the bed had a metal shelf 10 cm over the pillow.
I had booked for three nights and had prepaid for it, but decided to leave after the first night.

Great location - beside main station. The area is safe but like all railway station areas, not the best. But we never felt unsafe. Staff at reception very friendly. We couldn't check-in until 3pm but arrived from London at 10am. They stored our bags and we went into city. The double room was small with no air con. It was 35C during he day with v hot nights. Window open and a fan was provded in the room, but it wasn't ideal. Duvets on the bed but no cover sheet, so couldn't sleep except under the duvet. terrible perspiration. Basic shower and separate loo was fine. Room safe was broken [batteries expired I think] which was reported but not fixed. But the room door was very strong and secure so we felt safe from outsiders [passports and travel docs etc]. There are no hotel facilities in the traditional sense - bar, lounge etc - but we were out in the city all day anyway. Not sure we'd stay again, but we might in mild weather say.
