Pros: the villa is wonderfully appointed, well stocked and feels very home like and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well (which is rare for me on holiday). There was a wonderful little instant espresso machine in the kitchen area that I enjoyed. There are restaurants, gelato and markets within walking distance. The view was nice (from the first floor unit) including a small semi private yard but if you can, definitely try to get a second floor unit with a better view of the Tuscan countryside. The parking is close by which was great since parking can be tricky in the area. I would definitely stay again if I were to be in this region but for sure get a second floor with view. Cons: the check in was very confusing and I ended up getting very lost trying to locate the property after I reported to the main hotel and got a map. Thanks to the help of a local young man out walking his dog, I eventually located it. The door and gate codes seem a bit excessive. I was traveling solo and had to throw the car in park and get out and walk to the oppose side of the car every time I needed to go in or out of the private driveway.

Excellent apartment. Very close to the main street but very quiet and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. Comfortable and well maintained. Also the ability to use the facilities of the parent hotel was a bonus, using the pool and also for breakfast on the terrace. Would recommend.
