Newly remodeled and updated
Stay here about 13 yrs ago when it was Hotel Blue. It has undergone a much needed update/remodel. Nice restaurant, pool area and fantastic staff. Would definitely recommend and probably staying again on the way home to AZ.

Beware!- Very Costly!
No parking unless you pay $25 valet parking each night- but you can park across the street next to a homeless camp. Plus rooms have no amenities except $6 candy bars and $10 beers. Plus no luggage rack for your luggage. Bathroom had black hairs all over it plus the floor had dog hair EVERYWHERE! And few lights- the room was so dark!

No staff, no service. Broken elevator
Only 1 person on staff on a saturday. Main elevator broken now for 2-3 days. She put me in the WORST room on property. I had to return wayyyyy back to the front desk wt luggage to ask for a decent room. Food left around there by other guests, no one picked it up for a day.

Too expensive for what it was
The hotel was right across the street from a small park that had so many homeless people. The only parking was next to the park with druggies/homeless people so we had to valet for $28 a night. And I use “valet” loosely. The valet attendant gave me my keys to walk to the back parking lot to get my car the first night. Don’t call it valet if you have to get your own car.
The floor of the room was very dirty. It was windy and was probably blown in from outside; nonetheless, it was very dirty.

Too Hot ir too Cold
Only a heavy comforter was provided for a covering. A flat sheet would have been great. I had lowered temp. on heat unit. Later, the unit began to blow cold air intermittently. So it was too hot with comforter, but too cold when unit blew cold air. Kept waking up throughout the night. Other than that, the room was great. There was a $25 parking fee for fenced parking. You can leave car on the street but this is downtown Albuquerque and lots of people on the streets.

We checked in during the soft opening of this new site. It was nice. Rooms are on the smaller size.
